The recent Kannada Sahitya Sammelana was chaired by Champa in Mysuru concluded, now the Bengaluru City Jilla Kannada Sahitya Sammelana at Anekal Taluk Chandapura taluk is presided over by Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce President Sa Ra Govindu.
 
Sa Ra Govindu is not a literary personality yet he heads the Bengaluru City Kannada Sahitya Sammelana. Govindu name was announced by Kannada Sahitya parishat, Bengaluru City President Mayanna. At the border area of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu the Sammelana is taking place on December 24. Sa Ra Govindu was selected because he has been pro Kannada activist since 40 years.
 
On December 24 at 7 am the open chariot will be flagged off by challenging star Darshan and Jaya Karnataka party leader Muthappa Rai from Dr Rajakumar memorial in Kanteerava Studio.
 
The procession reaches Chandapura and assembly at Swami Vivekananda rural education premises. It is at this place and at this place the Sahitya Sammelana is organized. Poorna Kumbha will be carried by women, school children participate in the procession, various forms of art are there to treat the masses.
 
The Bengaluru City Kannada Sahitya Sammelana will be inaugurated by Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah, MP DK Ravi, power minister DK Shivakumar, Jaraganahalli Shivashanker are chief guests.
 
There will be youths seminar, poets meet, drama, Yakshagana etc in the cultural front.
