Govindu appeal to PM

In the wake of January 25 Karnataka Bandh called by Kannada activist Vatal Nagaraj on the Mahadayi water sharing issue, the noted producer and KFCC President Sa Ra Govindu appealed to the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi to intervene on the issue.

The Kannada Film Industry has extended complete support on the serious water issue for the people of Northern Karnataka. After repeated protests and appeals nothing is having in favor of people of Northern Karnataka.

It is high time the Prime Minister sort out the issue between Karnataka and Goa governments says Govindu in his appeal.

The recent letter read out by former chief minister BS Yediyurappa of 7.5 TMC water from Goa to Karnataka. Nothing happened after that letter. On 25th of January, 2018 there will be no screening and film production activities say Sa Ra Govindu has head of KFCC.

In 2017 also similar protest was held and film activities were stalled.
