Govindaya Namaha

All the expectations of comedy hero Komal Kumar film are intact in this film 'Govindayanamaha'. The dialogues at places are below the belt but on the whole the film is funny, musical, romantic and two action scenes further enhances the image of the potential actor Komal Kumar.

Govinda (Komal Kumar) lacks seriousness. He wants to lead a happy life and in the slip of the tongue he attributes something his intention once that too when he is drunk. That loses him Mumtaaz (Parul) and he has danced and sang the most popular song of the film Pyaar Ge Agbuttaithe...Namdhuke Jaan Ge Hogbuttaithe..

Before that he run away promising Vaidehi (Madhulika) in his grandfather town and when he finds Staisy (Ana Georgia) with a diamond ring of Rs.5 lakhs Govinda likes the ring not Staisy. For the fourth time Govinda feels lucky and decides to settle down with `Sheela' but he is booted by the destiny.

Govinda has consumed poison with liquor atop the huge building narrating his reasons for death to Karthik (Harish Raj) who misses jumping to death after seeing Govinda. In the middle of his narration Govinda is brought to government hospital for treatment where he is given right treatment. At this place Mumtaz is a nurse and he forgives Govinda and admits him for realization.

Komal Kumar is in comfortable position in this film. His comedy dialogue is the main stay and obesity is coming in the way. At a few places the dialogues could have been polished.

Madhulika looks very fresh, Parul is pretty, Ana Georgia looks very much western and Rekha looks beautiful in the song Modha Modhalu Heegene...

The film with highest rating in the internet media for Pyaaar Ge Agbuttaithe..gathers lovely applaud in the theatre. Modha Modhalu Heegene..is wrongly placed because before that the protagonist had connections with three heroines. How can it be first? Suresh Babu Camera work at many places look shoddy and gives the feel of an old film.

Worth watching once!
