Actor and Congress MP Govinda apparently had a strong premonition that it would be unsafe for him or his family to undertake any long journey before Aug 16. And it came true.

Shashi Prabhu, Govinda's business manager and close friend, said, "He told me that he had second thoughts about it when he felt that something wrong was about to happen before his family embarked on the journey but he felt that his strong belief in the Ajmer shrine would prevent any untoward incident."

Govinda's wife and two children were injured in a road accident Monday on their way to Ajmer in Rajasthan while his secretary Rishab Jha was killed instantly.

Prabhu revealed that Govinda made it a point to visit the Ajmer Sharif once every two years, but this time political commitments prompted him to stay back. When Jha offered to accompany his family, he gave the nod.

"Come to think of it now, Govinda would probably have been sitting in Rishab's place in the front if he had accompanied his family to Ajmer," Prabhu said.
