Govinda: A close call

A grave danger was waiting for Govinda in Amritsar. But the film star and his family had enough blessings from the almighty to be happy and together again.

While jogging with his son, the actor was hit by a mini-bus as the driver was not able to see him because of the dense fog. As the driver stopped the vehicle at the precise moment, Govinda escaped without getting any fatal injuries.

Speaking to the media the actor said "We had paid obeisance at the Golden Temple. May be God saved us because of that". Govinda was staying with his family in the MK International Hotel in Ranjit Avenue and he had gone jogging in the surrounding area.
