Governor to inaugurate Ilayaraja 75!

The Tamil film industry is gearing up for the grand celebration of Isaignani Ilayaraja's 75th birthday and the numerous achievements of the maestro with the grand event Ilayaraja 75, and TFPC is leaving no stone unturned, as the preparations are in full swing for the event which is scheduled to be held on February 2 and 3.
The latest update on this massive event is that, the President of TFPC Vishal, SS Durairaj and Kathiresan, the general secretaries had met the honourable TN Governor Shri Banwarilal Purohit today and invited him to inaugurate the event, and the governor has given his confirmation to inaugurate the event by lighting the traditional Kuthu Vilakku.
Besides inaugurating the musical celebration, the Governor will also be releasing Ilayaraja 75, a special edition book on the musical maestro. The two day event will have top artists from across various south film industries uniting to perform for hit tracks composed by the legend on February 2, and on February 3, the maestro himself will be performing live along with his orchestral group.
