In a shocking new development, it has been reported that there is a bid to appoint a special officer to take care of the Nadigar Sangam after complaints went to the government that the union is nonfunctional now. The Registrar of Societies is said to have sent a notice to President Nasser and secretary Vishal asking explanation as to why a government officer is not necessary.
In 2016 it was the Pandavar Ani headed by Vishal that overthrew the then incumbent office-bearers Sarathkumar and Radha Ravi in the elections. The team then brought about many changes to the union and also started constructing an ambitious building razing down the existing one. Lately there have been voices of dissent as those members who supported the team have now become their fierce critics.
It is worth mentioning that already the Producer Council headed by Vishal is now been run by an interim committee comprising of Bharathiraja, S.Ve. Sekhar and others.
