Now it is reported that Goundamani will indeed make a comeback in Sivakarthikeyan's new movie 'Maaveeran' directed by Madonne Ashwin of 'Mandela' fame. It is said that the veteran comedian will be portraying Siva's periayappa (paternal uncle) and will appear with him throughout the film.

The first look motion poster of 'Maaveeran' released a few days back has gone viral with its innovative theme and depiction. It is already reported that Kiara Advani will be making her Tamil debut as heroine and Mysskin will play the chief antagonist. Now with the addition of Goundamani this project has become much more bigger. Bharat Sankar and Vidhu Ayyana are the music composer and cinematographer respectively.
