Goundamani says strict 'no'

Monday was Goundamani's birthday and when the team of 'Goundamaniyin Enakku Veru Engum Kilaigal Kidayathu' wanted to celebrate it with a cake-cut and present him bouquets, the comedy legend said a strict 'no'.

Goundamani, who doesn't believe in celebrating his birthdays, asked the cast and the crew to go ahead with the shoot, which was taking place at a beach bungalow on East Coast Road.

Finally, he obliged to pose for photographs with them. The team members, led by director Ganapathi Bala (a former associate of Suseenthiran), are huge fans of Goundamani, and all of them have his popular dialogues as their ring tones.
