We have already broken the news to you that legendary comedian Goundamani is going to play the lead role in a movie after a long break titled 'Palanichami Vathiyar'. The shooting for the film produced by Goundamani's manager Madurai Selvam is expected to start soon. The much loved veteran will be playing the role of a retired school master in the film.

It has been reported that Sivakarthikeyan has been approached to make a special appearance in 'Palanichami Vathiyar' directed by Selva Anbarasan. It is well known that Siva is a hardcore fan of Goundamani and a few months back met him and joyfully shared a pic with the legend on social media. However it is not known if he has given the nod for the cameo or not.

Sivakarthikeyan is currently shooting for 'Maaveeran' directed by Madonne Ashwin and costarring Aditi Shankar and Mysskin. His long in the making 'Ayalaan' is also expected to release in ealry 2023. The busy star will also be shooting for 'SK 21' produced by Kamal Haasan and directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy in which Sai Pallavi is the leading lady.
