As the country is mourning the death of Sridevi, big names from the film fraternity have been conveying their condolences to the bereaved family members including Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth as well.  The latest to express his feelings regarding the same is veteran actor and comedian Goundamani.

Goundamani issued a special note in which he has shared his grief over the incident. Not only that he also recalled an interesting experience in the film ‘Arumbugal’ in which Sridevi was the heroine while he essayed the role of a villain. Goundamani having essayed a villain's role might come off as a surprising news for fans. “I have acted with Sridevi in many films. In the film ‘Arumbugal’, she was the heroine and I was the villain. I express my deepest condolences to her unfortunate demise,” he stated.

It is also worth mentioning here that the duo shared screen space in renowned films such as ’16 Vayathinile’ and ‘Sigappu Rojakkal’.
