Gopika turns lawyer

Gopika is playing the role of a lawyer for the first time in her career in the new film titled Pothen Vava. This is the first time she is playing the female lead opposite the super hero Mammootty. Apart from usual playing female roles in hero centric films, her character has matured enough to protect the hero of the film, with her expertise in law.
The film also presents famous singer Usha Uthup as Mammootty's mother, who is also an advocate in the film. The film also features actors like Nedumudi Venu, Kalasala Babu, Shammi Thilakan and Salim Kumar in various important roles. Lal Productions which produces the film with Joshi as the director expects the film to be a big success. Actress Gopika must be looking forward to repeat the success of her recent releases Chandupottu and Keerthichakra, in which she has teamed up with the other superstars of Malluwood.
