'Seetimaarr', which is supposed to hit the screens on April 2, will not be releasing on the said date. Starring Gopichand and directed by Sampath Nandi, the film has been postponed indefinitely.
On Saturday, the makers announced that the deferment is due to some unexpected delay in the completion of post-production works. "We want to give the audience the best experience. We shall announce the new date at the earliest and we promise that the delay is all that worth," Srinivasaa Silver Screen, the production house, stated.
The postponement makes the path clear for Akkineni Nagarjuna's 'Wild Dog' and Karthi-Rashmika Mandanna's 'Sulthan' to compete with each other at the box-office.
Gopichand and Tamannaah Bhatia had completed the shoot earlier this year. 'Seetimaarr' was supposed to release last year. Produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi, the mass-masala film has music by Mani Sharma.
