Actor Gopichand has joined hands with director Jothi Krishna for a new movie titled Oxygen. Touted to be a racy action thriller, the film is being produced by S Aishwarya under Sri Sai Raam Creations banner. The film was launched earlier today in the premises of Sri Vishwaroopa Sai Baba Temple, Chennai.

Jagapathi Babu and Kick Shyam are playing pivotal roles in this film, while Rashi Khanna, who earlier shared the screen space with Gopichand in Jil, has been roped in to play the leading lady in this film. New comer Anu Emmanuel is playing the second lead in this film. The other star cast of the film is yet to be finalised.

The makers are planning to begin the regular shooting from January, 2016. Vetri handles the lens for the film which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film is a bilingual in Telugu and Tamil languages.
