Gopichand-Nayan movie director walks out!

  • IndiaGlitz, [Tuesday,August 07 2012]

It is a classic case of a God-send movie falling in the territory of problems. For Gopichand, his biggest project on hand could not have become a bigger headache. The news is that director Boopathi Pandian, the Kollywoodian's much-in-news Telugu-Tamil bilingual, has walked out of the project.

Titled 'Jagan Mohan IPS', the movie has Nayanatara playing the female lead opposite Gopichand, who is playing a powerful cop’s role.

I have walked out of the project. I will announce my next movie soon, says Boopathi Pandian, without revealing as to what forced him to take the extreme decision.

It is said that too much of interference from the producers to change the script to suit the image of Gopichand has made Boopathi, better known in Tamil Nadu as the director of 'Malaikottai' and Thiruvilayadal Aarambam', to opt out of 'Jagan Mohan IPS'.
