What is it with 'Oxygen'? The film has been in the making for an unusually long time. The release date has been deferred on and on. As for its hero Gopichand, he has been tight-lipped all through.

What just happened could mean that the hero is either exasperated with the delay, or has creative differences with the director. Gopichand just asked AM Jyothi Krishna to keep himself from directing the climax scenes! It's not known as to where and why the differences cropped up between the hero-director duo. It's highly unusual for a director to be asked to step down for climax portions.

As things stand, the movie will hit the screens during the Dasara days. As for the audio, it will be out in the month of September. This action thriller has Jagapathi Babu playing a key role. Anu Emmanuel and Raashi Khanna are the female leads. "Our action thriller is coming with a never-seen-before concept. Each scene is exciting," the makers say.

Kick Shyaam, Ali, Brahmaji, Sitara, Abhimanyu Singh, Sayaji Shinde, Chandra Mohan, Sudha, Prabhakar, and Amith are seen. Music-directed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, it has cinematography by Vetri. Lyrics are by Ramajogayya Sastry.
