It is Gopi Mohan's turn to wield the megaphone. The Srinu Vytla associate has written the script for many successful films like Dhee, Ready, King and the recently released Dookudu. He is a name to reckon with among popular writers in Tollywood today.

It is not surprising that he wants to become a director himself. Having worked with Vytla for several years, he is said to be evincing a keen interest in the craft for the creative satisfaction it gives and the challenges it involves.

So, who is he going to direct as a debutante? No prizes for guessing that it is Venkatesh, a long-time friend of his friend Vytla. Luckily for Gopi Mohan, he became close to Venky during the making of Namo Venkatesa (for which he lent the script).

It may be noted that in the past Veeru Potla, who was a writer, turned into a director with Bindaas and has made two films till date (his second film was Ragada).
