With a story, which revolves around an atheist who sues God for the loss of his property in a natural calamity and how at last he realizes the greatness of God with the help of God himself in a man's avatar, a film was made in Bollywood, which is titled 'Oh My God'. The film, which stars Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal in the leads has set the cash registers ringing at the box-office.
Now this film is being remade in Telugu as 'Gopala Gopala' with Pawan Kalyan reprising Akshay Kumar's role as Lord Krishna and Venkatesh reprising Paresh Rawal's role as the atheist. Shriya Saran paired up with Venkatesh in this film and Mithun Chakraborthy plays an important role.
Kishore Kumar Pardasani, who had earlier directed films like 'Konchem Istam Konchem Kastam' and 'Tadakha' is helming this project. The genre of the film is very new to the Telugu audiences and the team is sure that it will sure work out here. Anoop Rubens, who had recently given some wonderful albums like 'Ishq', 'Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde' and 'Manam', has been roped in as the music director for this 'Gopala Gopala'.
D.Suresh Babu and Sharat Marar are jointly producing the film on Suresh Productions and North Star Entertainment banners. 'Gopala Gopala' is being planned to be released in October and it will be sure one of the most awaited films as Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan are going to be seen in one frame on a big screen for the first time.
