A Google software engineer made headlines for authoring a 10-page anti-diversity manifesto titled “Google`s Ideological Echo Chamber” and, according to some reports, he has been fired.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai is reported to have said that sections of that memo violated the company`s Code of Conduct and can feed “harmful gender stereotypes” at the company. Although Google has been mum about this to the media, Bloomberg reports that the engineer has been fired. This could mean a positive step forward for the company, which was recently accused of having a huge gender gap in terms of wages.
