Google Maps adds new feature to help us with covid-related udpates

Google Maps, this pandemic season, has come up with a hi-tech feature to help its users keep themselves abreast with various covid-related details. Ahead of the Christmas holiday season in the West, Maps has rolled out this interesting feature.

Here are some of the updates users can get through Maps:

All-time detected cases in an area.

Death toll in an area.

An average caseload growth trend of the last week.

Crowd-related information on public transport (read buses, trains, etc).

Google Maps has claimed that as many as 10 million people have received critical information about COVID-19, thanks to nearly 200 new features added since the onset of the pandemic.
