Google makes a huge contribution for Kerala flood crisis

The flood crisis in Kerala has left the state in shock, grief. Even then people of the state are trying to rehabilitate Kerala on a war footing. Many non governmental organisations, polticans and celebs have come forward to pitch in their support.
Not only that, there is also a lot of corporate help pouring in for Kerala. After tech giant Apple’s contribution, now Google has decided to pledge $1 million for flood relief measures. Apart from this, the Google Crisis Team has also come up with ‘person finder’ tool to find missing people, which had reportedly found 22,000 records already.
It is worth mentioning here that a lot of companies has donated to the cause like Apple which made Rs.7 cr last week. Other some companies which made contributions are Mercedes Benz India, TVS, Hyundai, Amazon, Flipkart, Bigbasket and Zomato as well.
