Google celebrates famous filmmaker with virtual reality doodle

Checking out what Google’s doodle for the day has almost become an unsaid routine for us. Each day we find something which is uniquely remembered by Google’s creative way. This day, Google celebrates iconic filmmaker Georges Melies.
Heorges Melies was a French filmmaker, illusionist who is known for introducing a variety of techniques in narration and special effects. Today also marks the release date of his much acclaimed masterpiece À la conquête du pôle (The Conquest of the Pole). Eventhough his parents were involved in shoe making business, Georges’s interest in the arts made him much reputed later.
Georges Melies also had an illustrious multiple careers as cartoonist, painter, caricaturist, magician, set designer, comedian, actor, writer and a technician as well. Phew! No wonder Google is celebrating him that too with a virtual reality doodle for the very first time. Go check out if you haven’t yet!
