Google has heralded new search-related improvements. The search engine giant has deployed Artificial Intelligence to ensure that Google's ability to better answer questions with very specific answers improves like never before.
Google has observed that 1 in 10 search queries is misspelled by users. Thanks to the “Did you mean?” feature, misspelled searches are often rectified on the go. In order to improvize upon this, Google has introduced a deep neural net with 680 million parameters to better understand the context of the user's search query.
In addition, as per a Tech Crunch report, Google’s Knowledge Graph will give a graphical representation of the answers you are searching for.
Google will also ensure that the user has the advantage of easily identifying the right paragraph which is relevant to his query.
In addition, subtopics that a user needs will be highlighted by the search engine. In its blog, Google said, "If you search for 'home exercise equipment', we can now understand relevant subtopics, such as budget equipment, premium picks, or small space ideas, and show a wider range of content for you on the search results page." This specific feature will be rolled out by the end of 2020.
Thanks to AI, Google is also in the works to better understand "the deep semantics of a video and automatically identify key moments."
