Legendary actress Sridevi’s demise brought shock and sorrow to millions of her fans worldwide including important personalities such as Superstar Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan who flew to Mumbai to pay their last respects. One another big name to express feelings pertaining to the same is the Google’s Chief Executive Officer Sundar Pichai.
Pichai took to his social page stating that he adored the actress’s performance in ‘Sadma’ and recalled his special memories of watching Sridevi in the film along with his family. “She was a pioneer and an inspiration to so many of us. So very sorry for your tragic loss and may she RIP,” he said.
However, sopme clever tweeple found an interesting detail that when ‘Sadma’ (1983) was the remake of the Tamil flick ‘Moondram Pirai’ (1982), how could he have seen the Hindi version when he was just 10 years old (Sundar was born in 1972 in Tamil Nadu). Twitter has been going all rave in pointing out the blunder(?) and have been registering the same.
Her performance in Sadma was one of my favorites and have special memories of watching Sridevi with my family. She was a pioneer and an inspiration to so many of us. So very sorry for your tragic loss and may she RIP
