Google CEO Sundar Pichai appeared before the American Congress a couple of days back where he was questioned about his company's various policies in data collection and other impacts social media has in the world today. Pichai was seen cool and composed and gave precise answers to most of the questions posed at him.

During the meeting Congresswoman Pramila Jaypaul the first woman of Indian origin holding the position shared the information that she too was born in the same state as Sundar Pichai (Chennai, Tamil Nadu) and said she was proud that as an immigrant he had grown to head one of the biggest companies in the world. Pramila also posed questions about the Rohingya massacre and sexual harassment for women at workplace to which Sundar asserted his Google's strong stand against such atrocities.
