Days after the Modi government banned PUBG and 118 other Chinese apps, we now have to welcome a new multiplayer action game in the town. It's FAU-G, supported by Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar.
The announcement was made by the 'Housefull-4' actor himself on Friday. "Supporting PM Narendra Modi's AtmaNirbhar movement, proud to present an action game,Fearless And United-Guards FAU-G. Besides entertainment, players will also learn about the sacrifices of our soldiers. 20% of the net revenue generated will be donated to Bharat Ke Veer Trust (sic)," the versatile actor, who awaits the release of 'Sooryavanshi' tweeted.
Akshay has mixed entertainment with a purpose. Developed by a Bengaluru-based gaming company, FAU-G, hopes the actor, will help youngsters learn about the sacrifices of Indian soldiers. Real-life scenarios that the Indian security forces face will be a key part of the game. To be launched by the end of October, the first level of the game will come in the backdrop of the Galwan Valley clashes between the Indian Army and the Chinese PLA.
The app will be available on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
