'KGF: Chapter 2' is going to be one of the few massive releases of 2021. The news is that its shoot will be resumed from August 26.

Director Prashanth Neel is heading for its shoot with Prakash Raj and Malavika at a famous film studio in Bengaluru. Lead actor Yash will not participate in the schedule. The director's aim is to complete the entire shoot with this schedule barring the climax.

The period drama was scheduled to release on October 23. But it won't release due to the pandemic. Hombale Films has also had to reschedule production and post-production works.

The film stars Sanjay Dutt as the villain Adheera. Bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur, the sequel has got Srinidhi Shetty playing the female lead. Raveena Tandon and Rao Ramesh have key roles.
