"Nuvvu Rama Rao aithe, nenu Savitri," cutely says Sakhi (Keerthy Suresh) in the teaser of 'Good Luck Sakhi'. The reference to the actress is obviously an indirect allusion to 'Mahanati', the biopic which fetched her a National Award.
Directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, 'Good Luck Sakhi' is a sports romedy partly set in a village, where Sakhi is seen as an embodiment of bad luck. She chases her dreams and goes on to become a success story after the entry of Jagapathi Babu's character. The villain of 'Rangasthalam' has played a rifle shooting coach in the movie.
Aadhi Pinisetty is Goli Raju, a stage artiste. Rahul Ramakrishna is seen sporting a long beard and hair. Devi Sri Prasad's mark is palpable. Cinematography and editing are by Chirantan Das and A Sreekar Prasad, respectively.
Produced by Sudhir Chandra Padhiri, co-produced by Shravya Varma and presented by Dil Raju, the film's release date (it will most likely release on some streaming platform) is yet to be announced.
