Ajith Kumar’s highly anticipated film ‘Good Bad Ugly’ is gearing up for a grand worldwide release on the 10th, with ticket bookings already off to a strong start. However, a major update has stirred buzz among fans and film circles alike.
Traditionally, Tamil Nadu hosts film premieres at 9 AM, whereas neighboring states like Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Puducherry often begin screenings as early as 4 AM or 7:30 AM. This difference in timing often leads to early reviews circulating online—both positive and negative—before Tamil Nadu audiences get a chance to watch the film.
Fearing that negative reviews could impact box office collections in Tamil Nadu, the producers of ‘Good Bad Ugly’, Maithri Movie Makers, have taken a drastic step. The production house has decided to standardize the premiere timing across all states.
As a result, early morning shows in other states have reportedly been canceled. The first screenings will now begin at 8:30 AM in Karnataka and 9 AM in Kerala, aligning with the Tamil Nadu schedule.
This strategic move to delay premieres in other regions has created quite a stir and reflects the production team’s commitment to ensuring a fair and uniform release experience across markets.
