'Golmaal 3' is a super hit

'Golmaal 3' has turned out to be a bigger success than what even its makers would have bargained for. With around 60 crores coming in within first week of its release, 'Golmaal 3' has surpassed the entire lifetime collections of 'Golmaal Returns' and is now all set to scale further heights in days to come. It won't be wrong to say that such mega success of the film has been the hugest surprise of 2010 so far.
While 140 crores of 'Dabangg' are not being threatened, 90 crores collections of 'Raajneeti' are all set to be challenged quite strongly by 'Golmaal 3'. Reason being that the film has two open weeks while 'Guzaarish' (which belongs to a not-so-popular genre) is the only competition (to some extent) for the third week. The film is a super hit at the least.
As for 'Action Replayy', it hasn't worked at the box office and turned out to be a disappointing venture for Akshay Kumar and Vipul Shah. With less than 25 crores coming in after a one week run, the film would see some benefit due to zero competition from any of the newer releases (A Flat, Raama - The Saviour, Dunno Y Naa Jaane Kyon) this week. However, yet again its prime nemesis would be 'Golmaal 3'.
