Sometimes, unwitting lyricists/writers end up using words/phrases with casteist markers. For example, Mohankrishna Indraganti used a particular word in 'Grahanam' as he didn't know it derisively alluded to a caste group. He wouldn't have done it had he fully known the connotations of the word.

Chandrabose seems to have used the phrase 'Gollabama Ochi Goru Gillutunte' in Rangasthalam's 'Rangamma Mangamma' song unwittingly. But the song is now bracing up for a minor trouble with a leader of the Yadav community warning the makers to purge the word out.

It has to be seen what call Mythri Movie Makers will take on this. Directed by Sukumar, the Ram Charan-Samantha starrer will hit the screens on March 30.
