The movie is only a few weeks old and is already getting notice all over! Indian Panorama and International Children's Festival(The Golden Elephants) is the latest addition in Thangameengal’s kitty after being selected over.

Ram in a statement, thanked his producers and all the technicians for working along in a simple yet hard hitting storyline. Among 25 films, Thangameengal is the only film to be featured in the International film festival at Goa this year. It has also been selected for screening at the International Children’s festival in along with golden classic movies.

Ram is an asset to Tamil Cinema without a doubt, after a revolutionary Kattradhu Tamizh, a subtle and a sweet plot in Thangameengal has won the hearts of many!
