Malayalam blockbuster Albuthu Dweep (Wonder Island), inspired by the famed Gulliver's Travels, will be made into a Hollywood film.

Talks have been going on for the past few months with Hollywood representatives in Mumbai.

“Nothing has been finalized. But they seem to be impressed with the movie's concept”, said Vinayan, director of the film.

The movie is about a wonder island where the men are dwarfs while the women are beautiful and normal due to a curse.

Six-naval personnel, meanwhile, land in the island after their helicopter crashes.

The dwarfs immediately kill two of them and the story is about how the other personnel outwit them and escape. Ajayan plays the role of prince Gajendran, heir apparent of Vamanapuri, a kingdom in the island.

Parts of the movie were shot in Lakshadweep and in Palakkad district and for the Tamil version some additions were incorporated later on.
