'Godfather': 'Thaar Maar Thakkar Maar' is hip and glitzy!

The first 'Godfather' song 'Thaar Maar Thakkar Maar' was out last week in the form of audio. Today, its lyrical video makes us soak into the funky and hip dance moves by the Chiranjeevi-Salman Khan duo.
It is interesting that Thaman and Prabhudeva have not taken to the song in a conventional manner. The hook step is a case in point. We can see that director Mohan Raja has conceived the song as a heroes-glorifying one, with Anatha Sriram's lyrics likening the two heroes to darkness-shattering light.
The Shreya Ghoshal rendition is atypical. While being a song that has definite references to the characters played by the two heroes, we also get usual references to their Tollywood and Bollywood backgrounds. The song was released in both Telugu and Hindi since 'Godfather' will be released in both languages simultaneously.
Konidela Productions and Super Good Films are upbeat about the song. Nirav Shah's cinematography for the movie is going to be special. Produced by Ram Charan, RB Choudary and NV Prasad, the film has Satyadev and Nayanthara in key roles.
The film hits the screens on October 5.
