The news has been doing the rounds for the past year. Chiranjeevi's 'Godfather' team today confirmed the same. Satyadev Kancharana is playing a full-length role in the remake.
The film, produced by Konidela Productions and Super Good Films, is directed by Mohan Raja. The 'Bluff Master' actor, who is a huge fan of Chiranjeevi's, is extremely elated to be playing the role. A day before the release of 'Acharya', in which Satyadev has a cameo, the news has come as a treat for fans.
Satyadev tweeted that Chiru is an acting guru. "Your name will always stay in my heart. I became an actor because I was inspired by you," the 'iSmart Shankar' actor tweeted, adding that he has played a short role in the April 29th release. "Your discipline and efforts teach us a lot," Satyadev added.
Chiru is happy that his fan has got to share screen space with him.
'Godfather' has music by Thaman. Nirav Shah is on board to crank the camera. Suresh Selvarajan and Yugandhar T are the production designer and VFX Supervisor, respectively. Produced by Ram Charan, RB Choudary and NV Prasad, Nayanthara is its heroine. Salman Khan is part of the cast. Last month, a schedule was wrapped up in Mumbai.
