'Godfather', wherein director Mohan Raja mines the potential of the Mega swag to the fullest, is back in the news ahead of its musical promotions. On Thursday, Nayanthara's first look was released by the confident makers.

If Chiru will be seen in a salt-n-pepper look for the first time, Nayan will be seen in a saree-clad role. Sathyapriya Jaidev is her name. We are going to see her in a decorous role that has implications for the characters played by Chiru and Satyadev Kancharana. In every way, the poster gives a bang for the buck. The 'Sye Raa' actress has surely played a good role in the movie.

Produced by Konidela Productions and Super Good Films, the film has music by Thaman. Nirav Shah's cinematography has come out well, if the teaser released recently is any indication. Suresh Selvarajan's production design is looking solid. Produced by Ram Charan, RB Choudary and NV Prasad, Vakada Apparao is its executive producer.

The film hits the screens on October 5. The date was confirmed today while releasing Nayan's look. So, there is no truth in the speculation that the movie has been postponed.
