Big-ticket movies usually show a decline in collections on their second day, given that the first-day collections are high. But 'GodFather' is an exception in this regard. The film's momentum didn't decline on Thursday compared to Wednesday.
The Mohan Raja directorial is expected to roar at the box office during the rest of the Dasara holiday season.
Meanwhile, director Raja said that the attempt to elevate the characters played by Murali Sharma, Brahmaji and others in the second half was conscious, as Satya Dev's character graph saw some slackening. He also defended making Salman Khan the second fiddle in the script. "He was meant to be a supporting actor," the director added.
