What novelty the producers find from this kind of remake is questionable. ‘Goa’ 2010 film in Tamil has nothing special and film made in Kannada with the same name is disjointed and unconvincing. The first half is a big bore. It has wafer thin story of three guys in wrong notion to become rich in life. There are several Kannada films in the past with the same story line.

Making 14 attempts to escape from the village three guys from village (Tarun, Komal Kumar and Sriki) decide to elope to Goa. They are under the wrong impression that marrying a foreign girl would automatically make them rich. It is only Komal Kumar who finds match in Rachel. Tarun and Sriki like the Indian girls Sonu and Sharmila Mandre.

Threesome come with gold ornaments of village goddess and this further land them in trouble. How they replace the gold ornaments in the safe custody is as expected.

Komal Kumar, Tarun and Sriki have given their best. Sharmila, Rachel and Sonu looks very charming on screen. Arjun Janya two songs are foot tapping. Cinematographer Rajesh has captured the beach side of Goa very well and offered good relief to the front benchers.

Score – 4/10
