Go

Now this is what one calls as the right recipe for a 'pucca masala' entertainer. Becuase here there is love, romance, action, emotion, drama, songs, dances, villains and lots of 'dhishum-dhishum'. Get, set and GO as debutant director Manish Srivastav brings to the big screen his film GO which promises to make you GO for that bucket of popcorn!

The hero here is a young boy Abhay [Gautam] who is born to rich parents, is adored by them, has a right attitude towards life, loves to drive his bike, is quite confident at a very young age, is loved by all and loved Vasundhara [Nisha Kothari]!

Vasundhara, an equally rich girl, too reciprocates. She has just entered the youthful phase of her life and is aware about her beauty. A bit naive, a lot sweet and too much in love with Gautam, she has her world revolving around him.

He woos her; she loves that. He teases her; she is fine with that too.

Now he wants her to run away with her due to resistance from their parents. She gives consent for that too.

The journey begins - GET, SET, GO....

As is any journey, this journey too was replete of all the adventure. There were good people, bad people. Nice experiences, some not so nice experiences. Thoda love, thoda drama and lots of action.

There were people like Nagesh Rao [Kay Kay Menon] with whom one didn't quite know which way would he turn. An honest cop who was now looking at turning over a new chapter in his life by taking over the shade completely opposite of what he had been having for years, he was unpredictable.

Would he be helping out Abhay and Vasundhara? Or would he come in their way? Or would he take a middle path?

The road ahead for Abhay and Vasundhara had some mean characters laid out for them too. The worst being T. S. Ranganathan a.k.a. Ranga [Sherveer Shereyar Vakil]. A goon who just knew only one thing - killing - he could eliminate anyone for a price.

Would his mentor Arjun Patil [Ravi Kale] be the next in line?

Arjun Patil. The Chief Minister of Maharashtra. The man who rose from the humble background of being the son of a primary schoolteacher in rural Chandrapur and was now sitting at a pedestal from where it was difficult to get him down. A politician by heart as well as mind, he know what POWER stood for. And now he would do anything and everything to retain it!

With people like Nagesh, Ranga and Arjun around them, Abhay and Vasundhara were on a journey that seemed difficult to undertake. The only man who made it entertaining? Kay Jagtap Tiwari (Rajpal Yadav), a conman.

A conman who thinks that he can con just about anyone. Little did he know that he was the man who was any other conman's delight! Even if he went through multiple makeovers and disguises!

The basic plot of GO goes as straightforward as this - There is a hero, there is a heroine, both of them run away from home, come across villains, get challenged by all the obstacles and finally come out unscathed! Simple, isn't it?
