We have reported that Vijay Deverakonda has signed a two-film deal with Ashwini Dutt's iconic Vyjayanthi Movies. The first of these projects will go on the floors in January next year.
As per the producer, the entertainer will be directed by the Raj Nidimoru-Krishna DK duo. If you are wondering who they are, they have made a name for themselves in Bollywood for years now. The new-age 'Shor In The City' and 'Go Goa Gone' were directed by them. In Telugu, they co-produced 'D For Dopidi' a few years ago.
There is a buzz that the VD film will be a Telugu-Hindi bilingual. Given the Raj-DK's penchant for trying something bohemian, the 'Geetha Govindam' actor could well have a solid debut in Hindi with this untitled film. The rising star has been waiting for something different so that he can enter Bollywood. Guess this is the one he needed.
