Global Star Ram Charan endorses sleeper hit ‘Balagam’

‘Balagam’, starring Priyadarshi and Kavya Kalyanram, has entered the third week of its BO run. The Venu Yeldandi-directed movie has minted Rs 11 Cr (Gross) in Telangana alone. 

The news is that Global Star Ram Charan has endorsed the movie days after his father Megastar Chiranjeevi backed it. The ‘RRR’ actor watched ‘Balagam’ and congratulated the team, especially producers Hanshitha Reddy and Harshith Reddy. “Congratulations to the entire team on the success. The way you honestly and authentically portrayed Telangana villages, the people there, and the emotions moved me so much. Audience have rewarded their hard work by making it a super hit,” the ‘Rangasthalam’ actor said.

Produced by Dil Raju Productions, the family drama continues to be the BO leader among the Telugu releases, defeating last week’s releases like ‘Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi’ and Upendra’s ‘Kabzaa’ comfortably.

The banner was recently floated by the daughter and nephew of Dil Raju to produce content-driven movies. They are currently doing a film starring Yash Master as the hero.
