Actress Naya Rivera is famous for portraying the fiery Santana Lopez in 'Glee' and several other television series and film. On July 8th around 1pm she had reportedly rented a boat at the Lake Peru in California and had taken her four year old son Josey for ride. Three hours later a person on a different boat noticed the boat drifting and was shocked to find the little boy asleep and alerted the boat house staff.

Josey had told the authorities that his mom had gone into the water and did not come back. While the boy had a life jacket on when he was found an adult life jacket presumable the one Rivera should have worn and her purses and cellphone was found on the boat.

Helicopters drones and divers scoured the area where the boat was found but could not trace Naya Rivera and the authorities feel it could be a case of drowning. It is believed that the search which was called off due to bad light last evening would continue early morning on Thursday, July 9th. Since its a very vast lake the chances of finding her alive is not very encouraging according to the locals.

Freinds and costars of Naya Rivera have called for prayers for the safe return of the actress who is single after having split from her boy friend Ryan Dorsey who is the father of her son. Her last Instagram post is a pic of herself with little son captioned "just the two of us". Hopefully she is found soon at least for the sake of the four year old boy.
