The Election Commission of India has assigned Glass Tumbler as the symbol of Jana Sena Party. The constitutional body made this official on Saturday night. The Jana Sena also confirmed it officially. At the time of writing this piece, Pawan Kalyan hasn't reacted to the development. He is in Europe to celebrate Christmas with his wife Anna and children.
Party symbols always signify certain specific values to supporters. As far as Pawanists are concerned, Glass Tumbler is 'mass'. It symbolizes equality and transparency (literally, it's transparent).
The symbol would definitely be relatable to most voters. In popular culture, we have seen mass heroes such as Chiranjeevi and Pawan himself (in 'Gabbar Singh') sipping tea from 'gaju glassu'.
It will be interesting to see how Pawan will promote this symbol.
