Malavika, who has featured in over a dozen movies in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi became the talk of the town after a sensuous and seductive role in her last Hindi release C U at 9.

Asked about whether she would henceforth continue to play only glamour roles, she says, 'I don't mind playing glamorous roles unless it has a scope for me to perform'.

Malavika, who acted as heroine in movies including Vettri Kodi Kattu, Lovely, Anandha Poongatrae, Seenu, Unnai Thedi says, 'people appreciated my role in the recent Rajinikanth starrer Chandramukhi. Though I played a brief role, I was happy that I shared the screen with Rajinikanth. I am a big fan of his and to be screened with him was a delight.'

On frequently flying between Mumbai and Chennai, Malavika, who is awaiting the release of her next Tamil venture Paasakiligal, says, 'shuttling between Mumbai and Chennai is no problem. I balance my career in Tamil and Hindi. Once I get enough offers here, I would prefer to stay here'.
