A prominent singer today at the national level Vijayaprakash got recognition to the highest level after being a part of 'Jai Ho Song...' of AR Rehman in 'Slum Dog Millionaire' is scoring five tunes for the first time in a big venture 'Andhar Bahar' of Shivarajakumar, Parvathi Menon, Arundhathi Nag, Shashikumar starring film by director Phanish Kumar.
Shivarajakumar is very confident that songs of Vijayaprakash will be 100 percent hit. Reacting to this great expectation Vijayaprakash says he would strive hard to make all the songs reach on top of the chart.
A Mysorean Vijayaprakash lent his voice in Blue, Yuvaraj, Swadesh, Kaal, Lakshya, Mathrubhumi, Tere Naam, Raavan, Force  the languages he sung include Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Chinese.
Hailing from a family of music background Vijayaprakash parents are Karnataka Classical singers. He joined Suresh Wadkar camp in 1996 and took part in Zee Reality show. He got opportunity AR Rehman 'Swadesh' and in Kannada he came to sing for 'Gaalipata' film of Yogaraj Bhat.
Singing in Sanskrit language there is ample satisfaction. To get satisfaction in Sanskrit language Vijayaprakash sung one for Music maestro Ilayaraja's 'Naan Kadhavul'.
Very humble in nature Vijayaprakash has sung for 25 films and countless of ads he has lent his voice.
