Leading director of Kannada cinema S.Narayan who is also producer, actor, story, screenplay, dialogues and lyric writer is of the opinion (on the controversial issue of remuneration to artistes) that the medicine has to be applied where the wound is or for the person who has suffered the wound but not to the entire fraternity of artistes.

Pointing the indiscipline among the producers S.Narayan says he can name only Dr.Rajkumar camp, Rockline Venkatesh and chief minister H.D.Kumaraswamy (who is also producer of Kannada film) as disciplined ones. I am not able to get the fourth name today in my 16 years stint in cinema Narayan pointed out.

Spending money on the project is in the hands of a producer. Where he has to spend and what for, how it is going to get the result on the screen he has to be aware.
