Giselli Monteiro is dying to spend a few minutes with Shah Rukh Khan and say 'thank you' to him in person. Reason? The 'baadshah' of Bollywood trusted in her abilities and roped her in for his home production 'Always Kabhi Kabhi' despite the fact that she had done just one film before.

"Can you believe it that I couldn't get much opportunity to interact with him during the making of 'Always Kabhi Kabhi' since he himself was so caught up with 'Ra. One'? I have been told by Roshan (Abbas), the film's director, that it was Shah Rukh who spotted me in 'Love Aaj Kal' and wanted me for the film. I now want to spend a few quiet moments with him and say a big 'thank you'," says Giselli in an animated tone.

In 'Always Kabhi Kabhi', Giselli plays a NRI from London who has lived abroad for most part of her life and is now in India to pursue her further studies. This is in sharp contrast to her role in 'Love Aaj Kal' where she played a 'desi sardarni'. Since the Saif Ali Khan film had happened around a couple of years back, one wonders what made her hold on for so long before giving a go-ahead to 'Always Kabhi Kabhi'?

"Honestly speaking, there were opportunities but at that time I wasn't feeling too comfortable to go ahead and pick up something immediately," confesses Giselli, "In any case I was still learning the language and wanted to be much better in my next outing. So I took a break, went home and then returned when 'Always Kabhi Kabhi' came calling."

And how about future plans?

"I am not in a hurry," she smiles, "I like to do things with my heart and not just for the sake of it. There are certain things in the pipeline and hopefully I would soon be able to talk about them as well."
