Girls heroes love to patronise

Seems that some heroines are pretty lucky to be patronised by top heroes. Though the trend is more typical of the Hindi film industry, Tollywood is no stranger to it. In the past, Sameera Reddy became Junior NTR's fav, who was roped in for 'Ashok' and 'Narasimhudu', on the advice of the star. Unluckily for Sameera, most of the films she acted in did not do too well here and she later opted for Bollywood.

Ditto with Mamta Mohandas now, whose name was suggested by Akkineni Nagarjuna for his film 'Kedi'. Mamta earlier acted with the glamorous star in King. Of course, it is also true that the professional actress well deserved the film. Nagarjuna himself praised the actress for displaying professionalism on the sets.

The gossip mills churn the rumour that Priyamani is being promoted by Jagapathi Babu. What could have made them to come to the conclusion? Well, the actress has acted in three movies with the middle-aged actress. 'Pellaina Kothalo', 'Pravarakhyudu' and now, 'Sadhyam'.

In a way, some actresses are fortunate enough to get godfathers in the form of frontline actors.
