In a bizzare and comical (depending on which side you are) incident, a girl refused to marry the groom at the wedding venue after knowing that the guy was bald. Doesn’t end there as the groom seems a stubborn man and ended up marrying a stranger , a daughter of a poor vegetable seller. Yes, rub your eyes and read it again, truth is stranger than fiction indeed.

Doctor Ravi Kumar, a neuro-surgeon travelled about 1000 kms from Delhi to a village in Bihar named Sugauli to marry a girl he had never seen. Following rituals including exchange of garlands, when Kumar removed his ceremonial headpiece, the bride wasn’t all too impressed with his almost hairless state. Refusing to marry the doctor, the wedding was called off.

However, the groom’s side being determined to tie the knot seeked the local village council’s help after which the doctor was married off to Neha Kumari, the daughter of a local vegetable vendor. The second attempt at the wedding went successful for the doctor at the Ramjanki Temple. Looks like 'All's well that ends well' for the doctor. But we see a grim face on the new bride though.
