In a shocking news, a 21 year old girl killed herself by hanging after a WhatsApp video call argument with her male friend. The victim is identified to be Shivani Sharma from Delhi who was pursuing her Company Secretary Course.

The incident happened at Delhi’s Usmanpur area after she hung herself from the ceiling fan using a shaul. “While Sharma was taking the extreme step, her friend called up her father — who has a shop on the ground floor of the house. He ran upstairs but by the time he reached her room, Shivani had hanged herself,” Deputy Commissioner of Police said.

Reportedly, she was brought dead to the hospital. A case has been filed against the boy for abetment to suicide. The girl’s phone has been taken by the police for forensic analysis. It is also worth noting here that a similar incident happened a few days back when a NEET student in Kota killed himself during a WhatsApp video call with his dad.
